This glorious period house on such a well known site in Glasthule, was returned to its former glory after years of laying empty.

This was a comprehensive conservation project, with full restoration of the interior and exterior of the house. The beautiful ornate original features were meticulously and faithfully restored to their former splendor.

This once derelict house was finally returned to a much loved family home. Every detail of the house was renovated including all original historic features. The project team, consisting of conservation specialists, ensured the works achieved the highest standards in best practice.

The works required full basement damp-proofing and insulating along with a breathable system which was required to ensure that the original masonry walls are allowed to breath and preform as intended.

The house was configured to maximise the seafront location. The main kitchen, living and dining spaces are located at first floor level offering stunning views directly from the kitchen island out to Dun Laoghaire Harbour.
